Over the past 40 years, Nanci has successfully counseled nearly 10,000 students in six school districts. For 30 years, she taught English (including Honors and AP classes, specializing in writing). And, for the past 20 years, (after obtaining her College Counseling Certificate from UCLA), she has enthusiastically worked as a College Counselor.

Core College Counseling students are always “successful!”  Every student is  accepted by many colleges! All students learn how to face the daunting process of COLLEGE ADMISSIONS.  Students learn to discern between small, medium and large schools. They examine the similarities and differences between public and private institutions. They create strong, personal statements and application essays that are suitable to be used for many college applications. And, they learn how to find and apply for scholarships.

Some additional information about Nanci:

• She was selected by UCLA’s Office of Admissions as a Freshman Admissions Evaluator. (8 years)
• She developed and presented College Counseling Workshops for L.A. County Office of Education – AVID Program. (3 years)
• She has counseled hundreds of students from dozens of Los Angeles County schools at the annual National Association of College Admission Counselors College Fair. (10 years)
